Countertenor & member of the first year of Philippe Jaroussky's Musical Academy, Evann is a young musician born in Brittany. He began his training at the Academy of Music and the Sacred Arts of Saint-Anne-d'Auray where he very early began working with vocal ensembles, and where he was guided in his work by the composer and choir conductor Richard Quesnel. He studied the piano with Marie-Christine Ferlan and Isabelle Checco, and singing with Thierry Félix and Robert Expert. In this latter discipline, he has also taken lessons with Damien Guillon, Philippe Jaroussky, Raoul Le Chenadec, Jean-François Lombard, Jean-Philippe Zielinski and Melanie Jackson, both at the conservatory and within the framework of masterclasses.

In September 2015 he began studying at the conservatory (CRR) of Paris, in the Superior Department of Young Singers. He also followed studies in the conducting class of Marc Korovitch as well as at the Gregorian School of Paris directed by Louis-Marie Vigne. In June 2018 he received his awards in Gregorian and choir conducting, with unanimous special mention, then in 2019, he was awarded in lyric singing.

Following the desire to be able to lead original artistic projects, he founded the Vox 21 Project in 2016, bringing together artists from all horizons, to explore a repertoire ranging from ancient music on period instruments to electronic music projects. Since its creation, the collective has led numerous projects, including an adaptation of Handel's opera Arminio, an album blending lyric singing and electronic music, diverse recitals of cantatas and oratorios by Bach, Vivaldi, Purcell and Buxtehude, in ensembles varying from 3 to 25 musicians.

As a singer, he performed for the first time as a soloist in 2015 for Purcell's Verse Anthems with the ensemble Stradivaria (directed by Daniel Cuiller), then later in Mouret's Triumph of the Senses with La Fenice (directed by Jean Tubery), then in Blow's opera Venus and Adonis with System20 (directed by Marinu Leccia). In 2017 he debuted with the ensemble Artaserse (directed by Philippe Jaroussky) on the occasion of a gala event dedicated to Handel. In the spring of 2019, he could be heard in the opera Rinaldo by Handel, in which he alternated between the leading role as well as that of Eustazio in the ensemble Matheus (directed by Jean-Christophe Spinosi). Later that same year he sings the leading role in the world premiere of Edmund by Jean Musy with the Camerata Ambacia (directed by Pascal Caraty). Evann also takes part regularly in the recitals of Jérémy Quelin (pianist) and Jon-Michael McLean (theorbist). His experiences have led him to sing as a soloist in venues such as the Theater an der Wien, the Royal Opera of Versailles, the Tchaikovsky Hall of Moscow as well as the Seine Musicale.
